The earliest memory I have of making jewellery is my aunty teaching me how to make earrings in the kitchen. Since then, I’ve explored every colour, texture and style you can imagine. For me, jewellery is more than something you wear, it’s a way to express who you are. Each piece in this collection is rich with meaning and designed to inspire effortless style. Orders are typically processed and dispatched in 2–4 business days. During peak periods or for handmade items, please allow up to 7 business days.
Your Order
All orders are shipped with Australia Post, with tracking details emailed to you once your order has shipped.
We offer complimentary Standard shipping on all orders and Express shipping on orders over $200. Express shipping for smaller orders is available and calculated upon checkout, based on your location.
Missing Parcels
We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed parcels caused by Australia Post or other circumstances beyond our control. We’ll do our best to assist you, so please don’t hesitate to email.
Packaging
Multiple items are usually packaged in a single jewellery box or soft pouch. If you prefer individual boxes for each piece, kindly specify this in the order notes. You may want separate boxes if you're buying gifts.
Sizing
Getting your ring size correct ensures comfort and confidence, whether you’re stacking or keeping it simple.
All ring sizes are in US sizes.
Find Your Fit
Option 1: Measure a ring you already own
Choose a ring that fits the finger you want to size. Measure the inner diameter in millimetres using a ruler, then compare it to the size chart below.
Option 2: Measure the diameter of your finger
Wrap a strip of paper or some string around your finger, mark where it overlaps, then measure the length of the string in millimetres. This gives you the circumference of your finger.
Sizing Tips
Measure your fingers at a regular temperature, as our fingers do shrink or swell in cold and hot weather.
If you are between sizes, size up rather than down.
Certain rings fit differently. Thicker band rings will feel more snug compared to a thinner band, which is easier to fit over your knuckle.
Measure the hand you want your ring to fit on, some people have different sized fingers on one hand compared to the other.

Care
We believe jewellery should be made to last, and loved for even longer. Here’s everything you need to know about the materials we use and how to care for your pieces, so they stay as beautiful as the day you got them.
The 3 S's
While our jewellery is water and lifestyle friendly, pieces will last a lot longer if you remember your three S's: Shower, Swim, Sweat. Remove your jewellery when any of these apply.
Avoid harsh chemicals, keep away from perfumes or lotions, and store somewhere dry. If you find you have been swimming or showering in your pieces, wiping with a soft cloth every now and then is all it needs to stay shiny.
Pearls & Beads
These tend to look slightly different from each other, and some can be imperfect. They are naturally delicate and also need a little extra care.
To protect the surface and shine of pearls and beads, avoid exposing them to water, perfume, lotions, or harsh chemicals. It's best to put them on after a shower and skincare to minimise contact with any residue. We also recommend removing them before sleep.
After wearing jewellery with pearls and beads, gently wipe them with a soft cloth to remove oils or dirt, and store them in a soft pouch or box to prevent scratching or tangling.
Handcrafted Items
Some of our pieces are handcrafted, which means no two are exactly the same and that’s part of their charm.
Slight variations in shape, finish, or bead selection may occur, depending on availability and the natural character of each material. These small differences make every piece truly one of a kind.
Please handle with care and remove before sleeping and exercising. Avoid water.
Returns
Due to the delicate nature of jewellery and it's varied use by the individual, our product warranty is 3 months from the date of purchase.
Earrings are excluded from refund and exchange offers for hygiene reasons and applies regardless of whether they have been worn or not. Earrings will only be accepted if they are faulty on delivery.
Refunds & Replacements
A refund or replacement is offered on items that arefaulty or damaged, up to 14 days after your order is delivered to you. We do not offer a refund for change of mind (you can exchange though, see below).
If your item is faulty or arrives damaged, please email hello@sommah.com. Ensure you provide a description and photo of the fault together with your order number so we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Exchanges
If you're not quite happy with your order, we’re happy to offer an exchange or store credit within 14 days of your order being delivered to you. Exchanges are available for change of mind, sizing, or style preference.
To be eligible for exchange, items must be unworn, in original condition, and returned with all original packaging.
To request an exchange, please email hello@sommah.com with your order number and reason for exchange. We’ll be in touch with the next steps.
Shipping Costs
The cost of returning an item from customer to store and shipping the new item from store to customer is the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty. An invoice will be issued for payment before any replacement items are shipped under the exchange program.
Repairs
We believe in keeping your jewellery gorgeous forever. If one of your pieces needs a little love and attention, we offer a paid repair service.
Whether it's a broken chain, loose clasp, or something else is not quite right, please get in touch and we’ll assess what can be done.

FAQ
When will my order be shipped?
Orders are typically processed within 2–4 business days. During busy periods, or for handcrafted items, processing may take up to 7 days.
How long will shipping take?
Standard shipping usually takes 3–7 business days, Express has your order delivered usually in 1–3 business days.
Can I track my order?
Absolutely! Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive a tracking number via email so you can watch your order make it's way to you. If you haven't received a tracking number, check your spam folder before emailing us!
Do you ship internationally?
Currently we are shipping within Australia only. For news on international shipping, please sign up to our mailing list.
Will my jewellery tarnish?
Some natural fading or tarnishing may occur over time (especially with exposure to water, sweat, or products). We recommend removing items before showering or swimming, and storing them in a dry place. You can polish your items with a cleaning cloth or use warm soapy water.
What is PVD gold?
Our gold plated pieces are coated using PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition), a premium plating process that bonds gold to the metal for a longer-lasting, more durable finish. It’s tarnish-resistant, water-friendly, and made to keep its glow, wear after wear.
Can I wear your jewellery if I have sensitive ears?
Absolutely! Our pieces are nickel and lead free, making them safe for most sensitive ears. We know how important comfort is, so our materials are chosen with care, no nasty metals here, just beautiful pieces made to feel as good as they look.
What if my item arrives damaged?
Please contact us ASAP after receiving your order (we need it back within 14 days) with a photo, description of the issue and your order number. We’ll sort it out quickly for you.
Are all your pieces handcrafted?
Some pieces are handcrafted by Amy, while others sourced from manufacturing partners overseas. This mix allows us to offer a wider range of styles at an affordable price, without compromising on quality. Many of our beads and unique materials are sourced locally in Australia from small, independent suppliers.
Is your packaging gift-ready?
Of course! Inside the shipping box will be the items from your order and a thank you card. There is no invoice, receipt or other order details to ruin the surprise. Within the shipping box, all jewellery items are inside beautiful branded packaging (think small box or a soft pouch) so you can easily split up items and wrap them individually if desired.
